About Mirrors Direct
A mirror shop run by one person: James Taylor
Mirrors Direct is an online shop selling 34 mirrors, from dressing table mirrors, wall mirrors, floor mirrors and bathroom mirrors, to homes across the UK. James started it in December 2025 and runs it from Huddersfield on his own, so every order and every message goes through him.
How it started, and how it runs
James has been building websites since he was a student, and since 2022 he has run a personalised gift shop of his own. In December 2025 he opened a second shop, this time for mirrors, and built the Mirrors Direct website himself.
Mirrors Direct does not make mirrors. The mirrors come from specialist suppliers, and James decides which of them go on the site. Everything else is him too: the website and checkout, every order, and every reply to a customer.
Buying a mirror online means trusting it to arrive in one piece and when you expect it, so the shop tries to leave nothing to guess. Since September 2026 every product page has shown its own estimated delivery date, worked out from how long that particular mirror takes, and the delivery and returns terms are written out in full on the delivery and refund policy pages.
